Wow, in the course of doing some "research" (i.e. random internet surfing) I stumbled, Google image search style, onto a delightful phenomenon in the vein of the immortal LOL Cats: Photoshopped romance novel covers! Wow! It must be a pretty popular thing, because they actually made it difficult to find original, unaltered covers...
